Waves, insieme all'annuncio della versione 6, ha presentato il nuovo SSL G-Channel. Il plug-in di emulazione di un canale di un banco Solid State Logic serie G. 
Il plug-in è da oggi compreso nel bundle SSL 4000 Collection, per chi fosse in possesso del bundle, grazie al piano WUP avrà diritto a questo plug-in gratuitamente.
Il plug-in è prodotto sotto la licenza di Solid State Logic, lavora fino alla risoluzione di 96 KHz a 24 bit, ed è disponibile nei formati TDM, RTAS AudioSuite, VST e AU per Mac e PC.
