Dal 1971 Lexicon non fa altro che produrre processori di segnale di successo, da pochi giorni è disponibile un aggiornamento software per uno dei suoi ultimi arrivati: il PCM 96.

La nuova versione del PCM 96 software è la 1.3.0.0 (solo per Macintosh).

Tra le principali novità e correzioni: 

- Support for Multiple FireWire cards (multiple FireWire bus support). 

- Fixes to greatly reduce the "Processor overload" occurrences. 

- Preset load speed in the PCM96 have been improved and it is now much faster when using the box in stand alone mode. 

- Various DAW crashes/hangs have been eliminated. 

- Various PCM96 box lockup/hangs have been fixed. Release notes are available with instructions for installing the software.
